Thank-you for teaching us how to treat the worms nicely, for giving us some worms, and for showing us the good videos. We learned that there are 1000 worms in a pound. We like our new 1000 pets very much. We learned that our red wriggler worms do not like the light because they can get burned and that they can eat half their body weight every day. Worms are special because they can live anywhere in the world. Worms are really good for the soil, because they MAKE the soil! Our worms don't eat glass, plastic, tins, or meat. It was interesting to know that worms have lived since the dinosaurs.
We loved (some liked) holding the worms, and we look forward to holding them again in the spring. We learned that the worms will go to the bottom of the soil or 6 inches. Hopefully our worms live to be 10 years old.
Thank-you again for our worms and a wonderful presentation.
Sincerely,
Your squirmy friends,
