Cathy Nesbitt spoke at two recent events sponsored by the Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council:

• Cathy was both a resource person and a participant at the Master Composter training session held October 3-4th in Regina. Cathy presented the one hour session on vermicomposting and helped handle any vermi questions that came up throughout the rest of the course.

• Cathy was also a presenter at the SWRC Focus on Composting Forum held October 8-9th at the Parktown Hotel, Saskatoon. She was our anchor speaker for the session on vermicomposting.

We found Cathy to be a focused, engaging and well informed speaker. Her energy, enthusiasm and experience were a great addition to both events. She had prepared presentations that were appropriate for the different audiences: a very hands-on approach was used with the Master Composters while a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation was given at the Forum.
