Youth Taking Action Forum

to Action Youth Forum and Teacher Workshop

Details: Youth Taking Action Forums are a community-building model designed by LSF to empower students to take action to create more sustainable communities. Youth Forums stimulate engagement of youth in sustainability activities (Action Projects) in partnership with local school boards and community, business, and government leaders.
Who should attend?: School Action Teams, consisting of up to 2 teachers, 1 administrator, 1 member of the parent-teacher council and 5 high school students.

Plant a Row * Grow a Row is a Canada-wide initiative designed to encourage gardeners to grow an extra row of vegetables and donate the harvest to their local food agency.
