Chalet with 1 lb. Red Wiggler Worms

$239.95

Tray systems are perfect for those that do not like to handle the worms or for families that produce more food scraps than the basic Vermicomposter can handle. Harvesting the Worm Chalet is clean and easy. When the worms have finished converting food scraps and bedding from one tray, add another tray on top and the worms will make their way up to the new food source. The lower tray will now consist of converted castings (worm poo) ready to be used in your plants and gardens.

    Worm Chalet System Includes:
  • Three stacking trays, lid and base
  • Each tray has recessed slots to make handling easy and removable wire bottoms
  • Initial bedding
  • Instruction manual
  • Lifetime support

* We have researched and tested a number of layered Vermicomposting systems and have found The Worm Chalet to be the best of the lot. The stylish design allows for a smaller footprint while still processing vast amounts of food scraps. The sturdy plastic structure will remain stable keep its shape for years to come. The floor of each layer has a removable wire mesh that's easy to clean. Recessed slots on each tray means the layers can be maneuvered with ease without having to pry the layers apart.

Neem trees are renown for water retention and surviving drought conditions. Neem is also a key ingredient in non-pesticidal insect management, providing a natural alternative to synthetic pesticides.
Dig a trench in your garden and place Neem disks in trench. Cover with soil. Neem disks will absorb water during rainfalls and expand to soak up excess moisture. They will then release water when soil drys out.

"I didn't think the Sure-Close would be much different from the regular bin I was already using. Boy, was I wrong. The Sure-Close compost pail is by far the best collection container I've ever used. The perforated lid lets the air flow so the pail is odour free. The lid stays open when required making the pail easier to use and can be snapped close with one hand. The opening is angled making it easier to put food scraps in with less spillage ending up on the floor or counter. Possibly the most important feature is the snug interlocking seal and lid clasp that ensures a tight closure that will keep fruit flies out!"

Note: This is not a vermicomposter. It is a compost collection bucket used to collect food scaps.

The LifeStraw may be one of the most important pieces of equipment that you will own. If you travel abroad you may have come across some questionable water sources. To avoid an illness that can ruin your trip (or force you to stay within running distance to a washroom) you want to be sure of your water supply.

Possibly one of the most important pieces of equipment that you will ever own.

This compact (8.75"x1") , ultralight (2oz.) plastic water filter lets you drink 1,000 litres of pure water directly from streams, lakes or even puddles. Surpasses EPA guidelines for E. coli, giardia, cryptosporidium oocysts and many others. Contains no chemicals and is safe for your thyroid gland.

For each LifeStraw you purchase, one school child in a developing community receives safe drinking water for an entire school year.

A portion of all sales go to support clean-water projects worldwide. With the Eartheasy Follow the Liters program, for every LifeStraw product sold, a child in a developing country receives clean, safe drinking water for an entire school year.
